Before you are allowed to book your practical driving test, you must have passed the theory test, however it is not essential to pass your theory test before you start your driving lessons.
When you start taking driving lessons I will give you your free theory test software which contains everything you will need to pass the theory test. From there you can take some time to study the package and I will then advise you on when it would be appropriate to take your theory test.
Once passed, your theory certificate is valid for 2 years, within this 2 year period you must pass the practical test or you will have to resit the theory test.
